Our Story
ACIU, Non-Profit Organization
Abiriba Communal Improvement Union - (ACIU) Maryland was founded in the 1990s to support each other locally and abroad. ACIU-Maryland is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that their sole purpose is to empower the youths by engaging them in the STEM programs and local activities, provide basic hygiene to underserved communities, and making our community a safe place to live by advocating for gun violence.

We strive to improve and keep our rich cultural history while assisting and supporting families that need both moral, spiritual, and financial support.
Our Vision
To improve and develop the Abiriba community both locally and internationally.

ACIU PICNIC 2026
We would be having our Annual picnic for 2026 on July 4th, 2026. The event will be held at the Abiriba Community Center, and we invite all members and friends to join us for a day of fun, food, and fellowship. Stay tuned for more details on the date and activities planned for this exciting event.
