As our world continues to evolve at an increasing rate, one of the best ways to prepare our youth for the future is to provide them with an innovative Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education. Technical skills such as the ability to code and use professional software are essential. We join widespread efforts to combat stereotypes surrounding science professions, to ensure that STEM careers are accessible to everyone regardless of gender, race, or disability.
We plan to encourage students to see STEM careers as something within reach, helping them understand:
Several studies proffered that youth who participate in 4-H STEM are better equipped with critical life skills necessary for future success. Your donations will help us achieve our goals and go towards our needs around:

As of January 2019, Maryland had an estimated 6,561 experiencing homelessness on any given day, as reported by Continuums of Care to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Public school data reported to the U.S. Department of Education during the 2017-2018 school year shows that an estimated 17,601 public school students experienced homelessness over the year.
